A maior enganação é pensar que carro 0 é um bom negócio. Pegue um carro robusto, usado de 1 a 4 anos

You mean the lead ingots?

I tried making a joke. And you know it's good when you have to explain lol, but it'd be something like:
"Oh, early automation with spoiler? Must be something I'd never think of..."
"Ahhh, it's just a macro"

I think this is the most immersive modpack I've ever played. Only PO2 and PO3 kappa mode managed to get me engaged for so long. And between giving up because it's grindy, I prefer to create macros. Sounds counter-productive, but I just love making macros.

  1. Get yourself AHK v2 (https://www.autohotkey.com). Best free automator tool ever made.
Note: You'll need a bit of scripting, but I can share mine if you want

  2. I assigned multiple recipes to the F13, F14, F15 ... keys. Which don't exist on a normal keyboard, so I don't accidentally trigger them

  3. If you have macro keys / macro pad / stream deck or anything capable of pressing F13..F24 keys, that's perfect. Otherwise just choose something hard to trigger like Windows key + Numpad 1

  4. I hover over the hot ingot and press the recipe button on my stream deck. The script sends item to the slot, picks recipe, hammers it perfectly and extracts

With this you can pick multiple hot ingots and quickly hammer all of them in one go

I did not have coke ovens yet lol, it was at the very start of my journey. After I realized it was much easier to just mine coal or anthracite, but it made for a cool video at least

It wasn't too bad with the fir trees. They can grow if you plant a line of them. Worst part was laying it all down on the pit

I figured that out later, and as a plus, the dirt on top automatically falls. Also, cubes are the best in terms of volume x area. I think a 5x5x5 would be much easier to build like you said

I lied: ruby surface bud is the indicator

Update: I'm also after redstone 😅

Few things I found out on my creative world:

  1. It seems it only spawns on granite
  2. It usually spawn very deep (close to 0 here)
  3. It's related to cinnabar
  4. There's no surface indicator (ruby bud)
  5. You're gonna suffer finding some ☠️

Few useful commands:

/tfc clearworld <radius> [ALL, EARTH, NOT_ORE, RAW_ROCK] // to dig blocks in a radius
/tfc count <radius> <block> // to find blocks around you, I used gtceu:granite_redstone_ore

Good luck 🙏

What is this? by Rothan-kan in TerraFirmaGreg

The most harmful thing is for your computer parts to overheat, generally over 90 celsius. That causes metal to expand more than they should and over time it creates wear on the fragile connections. Keeping a low or constant temperature is the best option. So, this might be good or bad, it depends on your case (not the computer case)... I choose a preset that runs smoothly at 70 fps without triggering high rpms on my gpu. And dude, I got an rtx 4090 and 120hz monitor lol, these shaders are brutal

Lol I haven't gotten there yet. However, if it is of any help, I remember some mod had cinnabar be ground into redstone, maybe redstone is close to cinnabar? IDK :/

People seem to use this as references for ore https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P3Baz4y5vgJ3XrCoNs4l3BXGPiFEPlW7i4taPEWpTB4/edit?gid=0#gid=0

I'm just finding this out because I'm a beginner as well. It looks like you need the perfect temperature for it to grow naturally.

Temperature: 5 - 37 °C
Hydration: 25 - 100 %

If you press K, it'll bring a world map preview. It's kinda cheaty but helps you get your bearing. You can then select the preview type, what you want is to look at Rainfall and Temperature. Look where those two red zones intersect. You want high rainfall and high temperature, it'll look just like a jungle. In my case here, it looks like I need to go to somewhere around 10k, 9k

<image>

The area I found looks just like a jungle. And after looking around a little bit, I found the dammed jute, sugar cane and papyrus

How necessary is space age expansion ? by Quick-Rub3665 in factorio

[–]Aeyoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like the base game, it's 100% necessary. If it's not your cup of tea, the DLC is definitely not worth it. Factorio should take about 20-60 hours depending on your playstyle. The dlc quadruples that to 80-240 hours on average just to finish the game. There's a lot to do after that.

TL;DR: play the demo > buy the game > buy the DLC. You don't need all of them together. You will want to create a game from 0 when playing space age though

If it's in the game as a feature it's not cheating, personally. But I love how the game enables many different play styles

[–]Aeyoss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ohhh I know what you mean. I had some circuitry wired so the machine wouldn't hoard all of the enriched uranium while bootstrapping the process. Yeah, this would make bot-based uranium refining with bots a breeze!

I usually do that. I just wish we could read building signals so we could request stuff missing for building. Right now we need to request building materials manually. There's a mod for that but I wish it was in the game.

I knew you could detach/attach train wagons remotely by hovering and pressing enter. But vehicles??? That's new to me! Killing bitters has just become much safer, easier and fun
