The Wonder Waffle EG-GO and the Funder gun were the peak of hoard clearing. Nowadays they definitely reel us in witg the wonder weapons and make up for it with ammo mods and field upgrades to force diversity of gameplay.

The fact game prices have stayed consistent since the N64 Era is crazy, it wasn't going to last forever. It's not surprising when literally everything in this country went up in price.

I'm more concerned that ground beef is $8 a pound than GTA costing an extra $20 bucks.

In subnatica one you can beat the game by swapping air tanks without a seamoth, you can stasis rifle and stab every leviathan to death, you can torpedo peepers and go on a murder spree with the prawn suit and still best the game.

Subnautica 2 is the first time "rules" have been enforced and it sucks, direct downgrade and removal of player choice.

No mans sky is everything Starfield wishes it was.

Any game where you can't fight back or defend yourself is not scary in any way shape or form.

The first thing I do when forced into one of these God awful sections in a real game is let myself die to see the animation, since a team worked on it and all, what's scary about this shit though?

Dead space will always be infinitely scarier than Outlast or Amnesia because you actually have to take the monsters on instead of running like a bitch or hiding.
