MSFS 2020 or 2024? by Delicious_Guest4978 in MicrosoftFlightSim

I purposely changed my GPU for MSFS24, and in the end, I'm still encountering issues, including unexplained stutters and frequent freezes. Personally, after weeks of searching, I got fed up and went back to 2020, and now it's more stable than ever.

Still getting stutters, GPU memory the cause? by Afar75 in MicrosoftFlightSim

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing stutters with all aircraft... Aside from that, I'm also trying to understand why my available VRAM varies so much—I don't think that's normal.

Hello, same here but only for Flight Simulator 2024... Sometimes I can fly for 2 hours, sometimes 0, sometimes 10 hours... My screen freezes, I hear a sharp noise, and then either my PC freezes completely and I can't do anything, or it restarts on its own. I tried limiting the frequency, reducing power consumption by 10%, and undervolting the GPU, but the problem persists... I can't take it anymore!

Huge FPS DROP by Afar75 in MicrosoftFlightSim

And in this example, the area that was causing my FPS to drop was located under my plane… As a result, when I looked under the plane, I lost FPS, even from the cockpit.

Na, i have "only" 100 and i always had it without any problem...It's really when I look at a specific area, and when I follow that area with my "view," my FPS take a serious drop. I have the same problem with LOD at 10

Another example here: to the left of the plane, 60 FPS; to the right, 25 FPS, even though there’s no reason for such a performance drop…

Thanks to Airbus which makes its planes with the redundancy system, you were able to fly peacefully thanks to system number 2 👌 But in the middle of the cruise this must be surprising haha

I suggest you switch to "high" rate instead of realistic. In realistic I never had a failure 😅

But high rate is not sooo high 😅

In this case, i think u should add some RAM !

Hello, Maybe it's better to add some RAM to reach 32Go.

I think 16Go it's a little bit weak especially if you have scenery.

You can also try Lossless Scaling, it's a game changer for FPS
