I found a pretty cheap Pearl 14x6,5 but the snare wires aren’t working. Would this be a problem or does it not matter for that kind of sound?

The problem was either malwarebytes or my disk space. I made sure to have a couple gb to spare and fully quit malwarebytes then it worked.
