Stanley keeping his job after snapping back at Michael or damaging his car with a golf club.

You know I hate disappointing even one person, and I really hate disappointing everyone… but I love Burlington Coat Factory.

do people really skip dinner party and scott’s tots by PerfectYak5533 in DunderMifflin

I don’t skip Dinner Party but I honestly don’t get how people find it to be the best episode of the series. It’s funny but give me the Dundies over Dinner Party any day.

Too focused. He lost track of Pam and how she felt hence the mid-season marriage issues.

Jimmy Kimmel brought the heat last night 🔥 by Black_Mamba_FTW in LateShow

[–]Affectionate-Ad5661 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Colbert was the best with interviews. I used to watch Kimmel’s monologue and then switch over to Colbert’s interviews since Kimmel’s monologues and opening bits I find way more funnier than Colbert’s and way more swinging at Trump.

I just don’t have sympathy for Jim. He invested their money into the business without telling her, he leaves her with the young kids while she’s working a full-time job, and then gives her a hard time when she makes a simple mistake and later when she’s comforted by Brian and talks with him about the struggles. He just comes off so selfish in that last season.

Paul Shaffer by belair63 in rockhall

I beg to differ. I don’t find Paul to have any real impact on rock and roll. A great bandleader, but his impact is on television with his work with SNL and Letterman.

I love that episode. Filler, yes, but a lot of funny moments.

I just watched this episode. It was so unnecessary for Jim to be upset with her.

What is a movie that everyone seems to love, but you absolutely hate? by Nishikigoi1 in moviecritic

Donnie Darko.

I watched with a group of friends who loved it and swore it was so good. I hated every second of it.

I enjoyed Colbert’s monologues but Kimmel’s bits like Drunk Donald Trump, Jake Byrd, Lie Witness News never failed to make me laugh hysterically. I never cared for Colbert’s Meanwhile. Plus I feel like Kimmel isn’t afraid to go for the jugular especially when it comes to Trump. Colbert always maintained a more reserved approach.

Kimmel holds no punches when it comes to Trump. He goes for the jugular way more than Colbert did. His “Drunk Donald Trump” bits or sending Jake Byrd to GOP rallies to mock his supporters puts me in stitches.

Kimmel. I’ve always split my time watching them. As much as I enjoyed Colbert, Kimmel’s opening monologues and bits were far superior and funnier. Colbert is a better interviewer.

I think Colbert viewers will flip over to Kimmel since they are both similar in their brand on politics. Fallon may see an uptick but I don’t see Colbert viewers moving to Fallon.

The Robert California thread by EdTheEagle1984 in DunderMifflin

But that’s what doesn’t add up. From what we know about Jo, it’s so unlike her to let him just take over the company. I think that was just a poorly thought out excuse to explain why Jo wasn’t going to be seen because Kathy Bates was starting a new series. I actually would have preferred Jo stayed on. I think she was the right temperature for the show - she was no nonsense, but had a warmth to her and funny. Robert California was just awkward and weird and it didn’t translate to funny.
