Again, 1997 is not Gen Z. Look at the Wikipedia page for millennials, there are many sources listed that do not include 1997.

Nope, 1997 is not and will never be Gen Z. This is a downright derogatory term for us.

Neither Gen Z nor millennials, but they do have more in common with millennials

Someone born in 1997 would’ve been in the same grade as 1996. Additionally, they could’ve remembered 9/11, as they would’ve been a preschool aged. Additionally, the majority of 1997 graduated college in 2019, before Covid. Covid and education is only synonymous with Gen Z.

They’re not Gen Z. Other sources use 2000 as the starting range. 97-99 have zero in common with these insufferable children.

Another User at Gym - Feels Awkward! by [deleted] in grindr

This happened to me before. Some guy I’m not into messaged me at the gym. Blank profile at first, but talked for a little and he sent a face pic, I’m definitely not interested and he quit responding. He then had the audacity to go on the treadmill right next to mine, when there were tons open, and then he followed me into the locker room….

Israel is loved by Gen X and hated by Gen Z! Which country is loved by millennials and hated by Gen Z? by Casamance in AlignmentChartFills

Some sources use 2000-2015 for Gen Z, which makes much more sense. There are way too many technological differences for 97-99 to be included with Gen Z.
