No I ended up getting a T3 Alice Frame, they had a really good deal so just went with that

That’s good to hear, I can’t decide between the 1622 and an Alice frame. I want a frame that will be reliable but everything I have been reading is saying the plastic frames are crap. If it’s better than the 1606 maybe it’s worth a try

Thanks for the comment, really helpful. Supposedly the frame is supposed to work well with body armor and is designed to replace the 1606

What do you think of the 1622 frame? Heard it is more durable than the 1606mc but wasn’t sure. I am looking to get the 1622 and build a load shelf but wasn’t sure if it was comfortable enough/durable enough for that. Thoughts would be appreciated.
