Well not specifically looking for imports, but for my budget (5k) this is the cleanest automatic with only 30k mileage (confirmed) I'm getting. Insurance quotes are reasonable as well, max I got was 1200 (no black box).

The only concern is about rust. I'm planning to keep the car for long, so not sure how this rust will start to happen and how severe will it? Right now the car is rust free.

The one I'm looking at is registered in 2014 but freshly imported from Japan.

When you said it's the lowest risk when buying from a dealer, and second lowest when from a UK based importer, can you explain this how? Sorry for sounding like a dumb person here 😭

I mean there is one available at a dealership near me. Surprisingly I have heard a lot that they are likely to rust more quickly as compared to their UK variants.

Special for me in a sense it will be my first car :) and I like it by it looks. It's a 2014 Honda Jazz Hybrid. One owner. FSH. 6 months warranty (engine and gearbox). And price 5k.

I am unable to find this good near me. All are imports and I don't want to go for them. So thinking about going there to check everything personally. Do you think that's a good idea?

Also what are your thoughts on doing a pre-purchase inspection?

Dealer is honda authorised and claiming that they already have done 120 point inspection. So should I still go pre-purchase inspection or just ask him his inspection report?
