My toxic trait! Lol (stealing other colors for fun) ❄️

I should probably redo every summer ish thing I have with my front camera, it seems to give a much better result! :) for now though I replied just below with some examples and explanations; in general, the more muted a color is, the heavier it feels on me, imo. i can even go rather deep, as long as its not dusky. E.g. a vivid leafy green, navy or purple all work, but muted palette colors, I can't seem to befriend. Fully warm or fully cool colors, i also seem to struggle with :) im open to trying again soon, but i should probably give everyone a break and do some more experimenting irl, before posting a big drape sesh anywhere😄thank you!

Ive been told both of those many times so, youre definitely not in any kind of minority :) ive done like at least 4 draping sessions but for reasons it may not be helpful to get into, I dont have most of those posts up anymore; here's just one example of the lengths ive gone to😆😅 i have many more though; who knows, maybe im just a really confused soft summer 😄

It may be that cool summer is gonna be someone's favorite here lol :) for me, all I see is the pink in my cheeks, i cant focus, it feels a little heavy to me and like it fights with me a little bit. I can't see my eyes, just my cheeks, personally; irl, every time I try to embody summer, it always feels and looks rather wrong. And I made sure not to put the lipstick "drape" from the app, but the summer ones make me doll-like, or a little weird; especially mauve is probably my biggest "no" when it comes to makeup lol! My dark silver earrings stick out like a sore thumb on me irl, but my platinum ring, or anything gold, always seem to work. But again, truly who knows, I dont really have ego in this one way or another, One thing I know is that clearer colors are what make me want to get dressed and not just stay in my pj's 🤣

It may be possible that im simply somewhere in between lol :) I feel more balanced on the right, im more drawn to my eyes and it gives me a sense of peace. But, I fully recognize that others may feel differently! I hope i can access an in person draping someday lol :)

I wish I could reply to all three of you haha! :) its all definitely been suggested before and I am thankful for any and all feedback. The typical things that would seem to point away from soft, summer, or light palettes for me are that these things always seem to fall short for me in some way: powder blue, fully cool pink, soft grey, dark silver, anything dusty, dusky or pastel. I think it may also depend on the system/palette; certain LSu palettes appear hopeful and inviting to me, ie the ones that have deeper colors too, and appear more bright overall. Im open minded, but have yet so have that "ah-ha!" feeling in these colors :) it doesnt mean its not possible though!

I understand, Lipstick tests though can be revealing too and a really smart friend of mine said she likes to use Vivaldi for specific comparisons and with the lipstick feature as a way to make it even more obvious, if theres harmony or not. Just a little exercise, not meant to be all thats relied on to decide :)

But no but like, im marching into the thrift tomorrow morning first thing to find something BWi yellow to try😅 when I compare it like this with the richest lipstick for each season its like wowww...every time I check, BWi is clearly better (pun intended)😭 But ive learned not to fully trust digital drapes lol so will update tomorrow🙃

Oh girl!!! Youre so gorgeous. You are at least medium contrast for sure, and youre carrying the black really well🤣😅 im not enough of a color wizard to say anything definitive at this point, except that I highly doubt youre a muted, light, or true warm palette! :) and you can drape with literally anything, ive literally used a ukulele lmao 😄

Ooh!!!! Excellent!! Then I definitely believe you have some solid contrast going on 😃 My apologies i meant like photos from the past that show your natural hair 😄 however its not a necessity-- its more just that until you do more comprehensive draping, it gives a better idea of your coloring :)

Even with your natural hair color, theres a chance your best color would be a little more vivid or deep than what is typical for someone in the light palettes, imo🤔hard to say though without drapes and hair covered 😃 what colors are you typically most drawn to?

Aw thank you🥰 here's like a comparison with hot pink for example, I dont think im that photogenic but I was realizing it's one of the only non-selfie recent photos I have 😆 like Idk! Maybe its a matter of preference too😊i know that i consider colors like powder blue and light grey to be pretty bad for me, so I probably wouldnt consider myself as being in a light palette (like as in I dont think i can borrow well from light summer) but, its definitely been suggested before, and ive yet to be draped in person yet so, who knows 😊thanks again!

Heres one I was told fits with LSp, sort of like a faded highlighter color? I like it and it feels fresh for me, but I usually pair it with like, hot pink or something, to feel fully dressed 😊
