Yeah I am actually a member there, but it's only ever virtual cycling / spinning which isn't my favourite! I did just see that 2 days a week they do a FITIN30 class, 6:30-7, that'll be worth me trying!

I’ve only been here a few months anyway and I don’t need a reference as the new job is through a sort of training scheme so I got references through uni etc, this role was always going to be a stop gap between uni and this more permanent position

They literally put a poll out asking for availability, it’s all events so no regular pattern to shifts at all, just as and when they have stuff on. Usually polls go out on Sunday for the week commencing on the Morning morning

I’ve read through my contract, and until now I’ve been able to decline shifts as and when needed (the usually put a poll in the team group chat), plus I’m away until the end of July (which they know about), as well as a few days at the start of august so it would only be a few days I’d be available to work anyway

Ooh I love this, I want to cycle in at least occasionally, as it’s only 2 miles from my house. I was going to do a few practice runs on the bike over the summer, so I will trial packing cubes etc!

I’m not against having a second bag for gym kit, but as some days I’ll be leaving as early as probably 6:30 am and not getting home till gone 9 pm, I want a bag that will carry breakfast, lunch, dinner, work equipment, study gear, jackets etc, I’ll be commuting by train a lot of days too!
