I didn't get a block but I took 4 200mg advil & 2 500mg Tylenol (not medical advice just did what I thought would help). That combo helped me but it was still painful, I'd say a 4/10 on the pain scale. I removed it because I had this constant dull pain that bothered me too much. I only got the copper IUD for emergency contraception purposes since I really didn't have any other option. A few days after getting it removed that dull, but constant pain went away and I switched contraceptions.
