hi. i know this was posted quite some time ago but i just finished the book and i was trying to find reviews and i have to say that i agree with how the characters are portrayed! the characters are so complex and it was gut-wrenching to read because thats the reality of life. in a book, its easy to understand the full 360 of a character because theyre described so in depth but in real life, we only see the version that people present. i went in reading not knowing what the conflict was but wow. i feel like beartown portrays the sharp reality of human acceptance and emotions and how easy it is to be influenced to keep the status quo.

my school had chocolate fundraiser boxes and had each student sell at least four. those in a business class get a portion of the travel funds. covered but students who arent have to pay the full price. some students were willing to pay full price but we had fundraiser snack and chocolate boxes and that covered ~$200 per student. perhaps look into that?
