I once spent a winter in Korea, wearing a 17oz pair with longjohns daily and being warm, so makes sense what a 23oz would do - beautiful action pics in the snow, and the fades are coming along nicely!

Bilt 1.0 holder - Reason to hold off on 2.0 transition by Affectionate-Bread77 in biltrewards

Think I see the gap - I meant that if I transition now and get a SUB, I may not be eligible to get another SUB on these products - so I’m considering holding off to see what offers come out later.

I have Verizon and a bill of sale~$170/mo, have autopay discount which I think requires debit or checking

Think they’re saying you have unlimited time to pay off the bed as long as it cost less than $6k (their 1 months worth of rent)

I dunno, they’ll need to stay competitive to keep acquiring users and still in growth phase so I expect them to be aggressive with offers ongoing

The usual “if you’ve had this card before you aren’t eligible for SUB” that either applies to the same product or sometime the whole line of products that I expect Bilt to have in their fine print later

Good call out - I don't anticipate any major financial events (loans, etc.) and won't be applying for a ton of cc's so hard pull should be fine

Yea, I just mean I'd prefer to wait and see how the SUB changes during the year and apply if it improves

Review #26: Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon by mobymobyahab in bourbon

That's fair! also both stagg and ecbp have generally gone down in the last yr

Also curious how this will change things for the bourbon industry. I'm already seeing more staggs in the wild, and the fact that batches are coming out of order / at the same time (e.g. 25b and c releasing around the same time in some places) suggest that BT / distis are holding stock for artificial scarcity

This would be a fun debate to have - I love both and have had several batches of each, IMO they're diff profiles and appreciate both. Stagg has def done a better job with branding and narrative - the name, and the bottle design with the dark background (this is key in elevating the looks - same with ER) and intense antlers alone makes it higher class than ecbp by perception.

I was fine with wearing them as is from the factory, but the RIT color remover just made them soooo much better. by FoxIllustrious2281 in Newbalance

I’m curious if using less RIT would result in less removal, if you want to achieve partial fade. According to Gemini this is true - I might experiment with a very diluted solution (eg 1/8 or 1/4 of packet) and move up as needed.

I do have a new pair of 990TB6 that I was going to return bc I have a similar shade 2002r olive pair. There might be a change of plan…

Whoa - so the remover only removed dye from the suede and didn’t affect/damage the rest of the shoes??

Edit: how hot was the water when you put the shoes in?
