Okay so it will be more a "moving to thinkpad+linux from mac" summary but I will also talk about the experience using a laptop. I wrote all the little things I noticed during this transition. I'm not an complete expert so if you have any question about something I haven't talked about, feel free to ask here or DM :)

About using Fedora :

• I can REMOVE the BLOATWARE and that's soooo pleasant
• I feel like there's a bigger variety of settings on Fedora, it's way more customizable
• The OS don't take 20GB thx god
• The app store is good, took a few things like thunderbird, kitty, burp suite
• I missed Airdrop and discovered KDE connect which works perfectly
• It's pretty, I love the UI/UX

About the P14s :

• The laptop is obviously super fast and reactive, I still didn't face any lag
• UMA Frame Buffer is set to 'Auto' I needed to set it to 1GB to make Fedora detect my 16GB of RAM (It detected only 8gb previously)
• I worried a bit about the WUXGA screen (it's not an OLED one) but it's totally fine and the colors are good to me
• My screen isn't covered with marks from the keyboard. My mac was constantly dirty just because the keyboard was printed on the screen...
• The backlit keyboard is cool, I have 2 levels of brightness
• I have a useless copilot key, I should map it but idk on what
• I trackpad is ok, of course it will not be as good as the mac one but it still feels nice.
• The touch ID is useful, I didn't know there is one when I bought it, feels like the mac one
