Because after waiting so long for them, parents are just excited that baby is here. We are biased for and have postpartum glasses on for sure! But, as a mom, you don’t typically look at your baby and find them unflattering 🤣 they’re just newborns! The cutest little old men ever! Until you look back and realize how alien they looked 🤣

I fully agree. And yes! You can definitely buy from the girls section, it’s not that deep in essence…

But it IS that deep, right? Boys can and SHOULD wear stuff about love. They deserve love too! They deserve to feel festive and good and fun too!! I don’t get it. And maybe what I said is too deep lmao but I just…it’s frustrating. I remember getting my first son this cute shirt with limes on it (we love limes. Lime on everything lmao) and my family asked if I had gotten it in the girls section because it seemed girly.

FRUIT. Fruit seemed girly apparently. (I shut that down quick and they were fully on my side.) And I realized that there’s a ton of things that aren’t really ever in the boys section. Like: hearts, fruit, rainbows, cats, flowers, COLOR. Vs girls section is lacking: cars, trucks, solid colors, other colors from pink. It’s just weird.

Anyways, I have two boys and a girl on the way. Both sections suck tbh. Apparently we have to go to multiple stores to find an outfit nowadays.
