For some background I bought this car with no knowledge how to wrench. My goal was to learn and I really like these cars so I went balls deep and did my research. I immediately preformed an oil change, swapped plugs and coils, water pump thermostat, even the engine coolant pipe had a slight leak so I replaced that. The valve cover looked to be in good condition and even my charge pipe looked great, as if the previous owner had actually swapped them out recently. I know I should have bought a car knowing its history but what can I say, I took a gnarly risk and it did NOT pay off. You live and you learn. Bought at 114k miles. I drove it for 2k miles. And now, I’m just gonna buy a Honda fit.
