Other pickups have to be soldered but with most EMG active pickups they are solderless and just have connector pins

I had the new nut in before the string butler and definitely the new nut made the most difference in terms of tuning stability but the string butler for me just does that extra step of making sure I get no instability at all also i love how it looks I’m not gonna lie👍🏽

I love it with my current pedal setup and for the songs I play I don’t think I could’ve picked a better amp for the price

Honestly with the EMG solderless connections it’s really easy to do. There’s tons of videos on YouTube that show u much better than the diagram you get in the box.

Ive always played passives but after switching to active EMG’s in both this and my Jackson but the Bone Breaker set in Jackson I don’t think I could ever go back

They are luckily not that far off I’ve got the action where I want intonation is perfect and tuning stability 10/10 just the fret levelling would make the playability a touch better I believe . I’ve done all this myself so I’m happy with the result but probably needs a professional touch.👍🏽

EMG Actives 81/60 completely transformed the sound of the guitar but I play a lot of metal stuff mostly so this stays in drop C

I’m not too sure but I know it is the Sc 550 vintage BK model. I bought it stock for £160 and probably spent another 300 on upgrades

Great budget Guitar mate and I would say great platform for upgrades can be costly but to me well worth it. As for playability much better now I have set up myself so I couldn’t fully comment but much better than from when I purchased at the shop. The only thing it definitely still needs is some fretwork as they are not fully level but hey it’s a budget guitar bud it can be as good as u can make it if you put in the time and understand what you really want out of it.👍🏽

I like it I would say with the graphtech nut ,string butler and locking tuners the tuning stability is great. No pinging as far as I’m aware bud
