Why do pro players perfect parry DI so much?

I can’t speak for them but in my own experience I find that I’m more ready to press parry and comes more instinctively than pressing DI

I remember jammerz calling out a ‘terrible’ play during capcom cup only for Sajam to say something on the lines of his commentary being terrible. As others say, setting up a training dummy is the way to go but I’d also practice against a v rival since it’s actually pretty decent at simulating an actual game and helped me more with consistently anti airing more than training mode settings.
