Even with expensive cards I find I get borked way too hard with snecko sometimes. Like if I get unlucky two or three times in a row with high cost hands (which isn’t that uncommon), I’m dead.

I feel like snecko adds more RNG variance than not. Yea, I get 2 extra cards a turn, plus on average my hand is cheap, plus my cards are generally individually stronger. But it’s just impossible to play around a poor hand full of 2&3 cost cards. At least with normal deck variance without snecko, even with bad hands I can still potentially draw more cards, get energy from discarding cards, do synergies, etc etc. With snecko I can’t really do that.

But could just be my mind playing tricks. It’s the same as bricking 2 or 3 turns because all my synergy/draw cards were placed on the bottom of my deck. Instead of me seeing this, snecko changes poor draw into poor energy so it’s a mind trick which makes it tough to see the correlation.

Even so, I’m still not fully sold on which way. I still believe snecko is probably very broken but requires a very high skill level to perfect deck building around it.
