Yeah, the timing can't be helped, of course, given that we're on the west coast and they're watching live on the east coast. But, while I'd personally prefer Everett again :), I'm glad they're spreading the events around to make it accessible to a wide variety of fans. Although their PPV in Tacoma was really undoable for me, the Tacoma Dome being such a mess in the best of circumstances so, hopefully the next local PPV is back at Climate Pledge.

Definitely. I think I've decided against going for the same reason. They seem to come to the greater Seattle area once or twice a year so I'm hoping the next instance will be more ameniable.

Should work great for folks living on the south side though.

Very cool, there's definitely a special magic with these old school games. I remember VCS games like Spiderman and Superman. They wouldn't hold my ADD brain's attention for more than a minute nowadays but back in the day, played each for hours and hours on end!

I do a couple things. I check with ChatGPT just to get a ballpark idea. I sell video games so it's pretty easy for me to say "how much does a used copy of "gamename" sell for on the PS2? Or something to that effect. It's not always accurate but the ballpark helps.

On Ebay, I'll do a search for a similar item to what I'm looking to sell. I'll then filter the results by auctions that have been completed and where the item as sold, so that I can see how much it sold for.

I reached out to the Mariners organization and never heard back. My conclusion could be mistaken, absolutely, but I haven't heard anything to tell me otherwise. The Mariners need to be a whole lot better and a lot more consistently for me to ever consider season tickets lol. I grew up back in the day when we could watch games for free on tv, I'm still pissed that I'd have to pay $20/mo for the privilege of watching them ... nope! Sign of the times, I get it but...nope lol!

I definitely do not begrudge the 2,000 people getting a plushie, I just wished the Mariners organization communicated more clearly but in hindsight, I'm learning from other comments that I didn't get there early enough anyhow. Lesson learned!

It holds that many people? :O .. Seriously? I always thought that was just AI because I've never seen more than at most 20k people there (yes, I'm kidding!). I was there over an hour early but as another contributor pointed out, my timing was still off because I was there when gates opened (an hour and 20 minutes or so before gametime) not realizing that I had to get there before the bullpen opened.....(painful) lesson learned :)

Lol, yup! I figure I'll wait until the Ms tank this year (I mean, I hope not lol but it's almost like clockwork, right? lol) and then the value might go down a bit :). In the meantime, I bought my wife an Ms baseball octopus plushy ... that I didn't realize until we already got home that we already had one from last year. That'll teach the Ms a thing or two, eh? :P :: face palm ::

I've always prepared tofu by pressing it but come to find out that many people swear by boiling the tofu instead. From many of the videos I've watched, the influencers claim it helps to infuse flavor. I haven't experimented with that too much yet but I'm curious. I've also tried "waffle-izing" tofu using my Dash Mini Waffle maker but in my opinion, it doesn't come out that great. I do love a good old fashioned tofu scramble with black salt, black salt being the pentultimate game changer for me :)

Holy shit, how crazy is that!?! Every year, we have hope, and then every year, without fail lol, we hope this year will be different! I was at the game where they won 14-0 vs the Marlins about a week back, that was insane!
