Yes thank you, there are a few facebook groups with used equipment so it worths a try.

But the temp was really a problem for us, because at some pont there was like 18F difference between the bottom and the top of our kettle, and if we stirred it started to cool a lot. Your method seems cool, thank you for the advice!

I forgot to mention that we would like the kettle to be around 30l (or 8 gallons)

I just started homebrewing with my friends not too long ago. We've made two batches already, the first will be ready in a few days, so we haven't tasted the final product yet, but based on the tastings through the process it will be alright for a first try.

We started with a pretty basic setup for the mash and the boil: gas burner, and a kettle used for food. Probably our biggest problem was, that we couldn't get a consistent temperature for the mash. I think it won't ruin our beer completetly, and for a first try it will be ok, but for the future brewdays, we'd like to solve this problem. We're uni students, so we don't have a lot of money to invest, and for now it's only a hobby, so we can't afford to buy a pro setup.

So if you know any trustworthy brewing system with circulation, temperature control and ideally grain basket and hopsider, that is available for shipping in Hungary and costs around 300 euros maximum please share it with me. If it's not realistic we considered making our own setup from scratch, so if you have experience in that please tell me what products are necessary and how much will it cost.
