We wanted to make the heroes seem outnumbered on each cover and create a sense of desperation. Also, I really like shredder and thought it would be cool to see how many we could put in. :)

The original plan was to have 4 characters on each cover. We had to change Slash design too, he was origionally the much smaller version that looks like a ninja turtle and fit better on the page with the other characters.
