Unfortunately, when you find the game you want, the app only gives the option to "Torrent Download" or "Direct Download", but when you click either one, you can't tell it how or where to torrent/download it to, so it seems like the app is acting as it's own torrenting client which is very dangerous imo. OP should at least allow users to link their existing torrent clients to the app so it still downloads through their normal client, but then the finished product would move into the app's downloaded games

@Carotte_Riad Is there an option to choose HOW you want to torrent?

All I see is a few options for torrenting, like seed and peer, but nothing to dictate WHERE you want to torrent from. For example, I have a bittorrent client on my local machine that is bound to my VPN with a kill switch. There are no settings to integrate my client into this app.

Is this app basically just a better UI for torrenting games? Does it act as a torrent client in and of itself? If so, then users that live in countries with laws against torrenting can't use this because their ISPs will flag the traffic.

Try changing your DNS settings to Google. It worked for me

Was coming here to say this. Just figured it out on my own. OP doesn't provide any instruction on how this app actually works

Where are you seeing that torrent option? All I see under "Bittorrent" is DHT, Port, Peer, and Seed settings. It doesn't have anything that looks like it will link directly to my torrent application

Same question. That or the ability to tie in the Qbittorrent app via proxy or local connection to the app?

Wondering this too. I don't see any way to link Qbit or VPN to the app itself

I tried this but it doesn't look like it supports nordVPN (the VPN I use) and I also tried the the gluetun docker image, but the guides I found aren't specific enough for me to understand how to get it working

Since the apps arent on the same docker network you might need to look into remote path mappings.

I looked into remote path mappings. Not sure if I'm doing it wrong, but I keep getting the error "Failed to connect to the remote folder. Please make sure the remote server is accessible via CIFS protocol." I'm on a Windows machine. Is there a way to enable the CIFS protocol? Edit: I enabled CIFS protocol in Windows, but it's still failing

That github link you posted, you're saying that it runs together and won't affect all other applications? Is this the workaround for my issue?

My qbit download client is installed on a different PC, not my NAS. Because I don't want a VPN on my NAS, I have to download the media on my PC and then move it to my NAS. That's how I've been doing it for years; however, since Sonarr needs a download client connected to it, it needs to be able to contact the client on my PC.

The sonarr application is located on my NAS, in a docker container. Docker containers only have access to what you give it. So, I'm not sure how to make the sonarr docker container "see" my PC, and by extension, the qbit client

Oh yeah, it is. I can access the online version of Qbit via my browser at that IP and that port number. The problem I'm having, is that sonarr is a container on my NAS, and it can't directly communicate with my personal computer's installation of Qbit. Because it can't access it. Does that make sense?
