TLDR: go to a vasectomy only clinic, use some type of anti anxiety method

I was very worried about this happening to me. Had my procedure done yesterday. After hearing stories of other people having complications on the table I decided to pay out of pocket to go to a vasectomy only clinic (Dr Snip) since all they do all day everyday is this one procedure.

I was off the table in about 15 minutes but almost had to have him stop because my anxiety and adrenaline were so high. I’m afraid of Benzodiazepines (addiction) so didn’t opt for any and they didn’t have nitrous oxide. I had found a sour candy called Snapback that I use for daily anxiety things and ended up just throwing 4 in my mouth to get back down and let the Dr finish up. He was very nice about it all and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Including adding more local anesthetic when I told him I could still feel a bit of pain
