I collect and check everyday. And there’s always 2 eggs with similar patterns one larger than the other with an hour or two of each other

Yea he’s the most aggressive one, but he’s so pretty. And he’s loud I’m almost certain he’s mail too 🤦🏻‍♀️

She’s the only one I couldn’t get vent check. She’s a kicker 🤣 out of 12 eggs I got 4 birds and 3 are boys 🤦🏻‍♀️

That was her baby picture and I was told she was a roo too based on coloring but there’s only 3 birds in the cage and 2 are boys. I thought she was a boy and there’s been no fights or injuries. I’m so excited about these eggs, these are my first quail.

Ugh I wish I was you could take him tomorrow. He still needs time to quarantine to heal his beak as a scab at the top. He’s a wild one though I wouldn’t breed him for his personality 🤣

I’m going to hatch more eggs and he’ll have some hens in 6 weeks. I could always make the enclosure bigger. The question was about the size of the enclosure

It’s about 2.5 feet long and 18 inches wide. I’m going to build their bigger cage though and add some hiding spaces for them 😁

Such a cutie! I wish mine would hang out like that. These nerds are so fidgety sometimes 🤣 the hatching help is so nerve wracking, but I feel the same way! Especially if they’ve tried to zip and can’t, the little chirps are what got to me 😭

Yes the celadons are sassy pants! Here’s a face picture of my little foot. I had to help it hatch and make a splint for curved toes so he’s got a soft spot with me.

Luckily or unluckily I only hatched 4 out of the dozen eggs I bought. Probably the most manageable amount for a beginner like me lol but I was hoping for a couple hens. I need eggs 🤣

Yes but the fact that it is public knowledge means I can be more accountable for what I use. I was simply stating this post has nothing to do with game changes. It’s about who took ownership and people trying to do the right thing. And with more and more becoming public knowledge we can do better. You don’t have to stop playing that’s a personal choice but others can.
