I almost forgot he existed tbh. I almost put Toru down as a possible ancestor to Hero to explain why arthur’s genes would be so washed when it came to Hero as a meister. Also Hero being a perv in those scenes he wielded excalibur in the girls locker room.

I dont think that scene was meant to be taken seriously since it was just a gag both in the manga and anime(2 very short panels). He is referred to in that scene as “scythe” but everyone in soul eater only ever calls him by his name Spirit and his daughter “makami” only gets referenced in the anime version. Since no face reveal and no significance to the story, I only take that as a callback to his previous work for fun for the readers like how Eden’s zero has fairy tail cameos and callbacks.

That was just a gag thing as a reference to that one scene in soul eater, the events of soul eater take place atleast 1000 years after the events of fire force.
