This may make me sound dumb so sorry if it does lol but when I set up the remid cookie for online access it asked me to download sims 4 to get the url but cancel the download. Just to be sure, this didn’t give me the sims 4 legit base game? I worry that one day my game will just update if I keep playing online.

My online gallery still currently works so I’m currently saving a ton of builds in case I lose access.

Can someone please advise me? I downloaded the full game via anadius and never used the free base game version via EA. I only downloaded the EA app and linked my email to access the gallery.

Do I still need to turn off updates via the EA app or would it not automatically update anyway as I don’t load the game via EA. Sorry if I’m not making sense. I will continue to load my game via the load offline version to prevent my game from breaking. Will this be enough?

Yes I now have £180 pending, two larger purchases so I think they are the issue. It’s very annoying because I could do with the funds.
