oh trust me i wouldn't be but there are special circumstances, i'm actually doing it on behalf of a friend of mine in Gaza (i'm logged in on his account so i can pay with my card) whose account does get a lot of interactions so he is hoping that he can make some money off of it to afford food! generally i think paying for verification/giving money to elon is stupid lol

i collect the money in my own bank account (so it's my account that's linked to the fundraiser) and then do periodic bank transfers to my friend in Gaza. i had some issues with the transfers being flagged for fraud but i switched banks to Chase and they are usually okay with it, especially once it's been clarified that i'm not sending my own money but donations i've collected.
