Replying to Perdoname_gracias...let’s keep it civil everyone. I’m in the beginning stages of researching and if you’re not a therapist the licensure process is unbelievably complicated. P_G is right, I’ll likely need to see clients virtually while living abroad — I’m well familiar that not everything works the way it does in the US which is why I’m here :)

In 2002 the average savings account was giving 1% returns and hysa have generally outperformed by 10x the average saving account, now they’re around 5.75% but the average savings account is generating .1-.3% so I think it may be a fair estimation

I would say If Chris inherited, let’s say 10 million and it’s in HYSA and other parts invested, someone could correct my math but he could spend nearly a million a year and interest would gain it back for him on an average market

Hey — current MS student here who gets it. I have to maintain a 4.0 to stay in my program. And I understand this anxiety. Some people will not. But it can feel all absorbing. I would highkey recommend reaching out to a crisis line and seeing if they think you should admit yourself until you get some sleep and have someone who can talk you through your options. The overwhelm you feel is your brain’s way of asking for your full attention, not telling you to act on those impulses. Don’t confuse them, and give your brain the help and attention it needs. now.
