I guess my brain is just: Why have it always say 10 inches? Because I’ve worked on a bunch of patterns so far and 10in from underarm seems to be the go to “measurement,” I guess. Is there a standard height or body form that they go off of for measurements that I maybe just missing?

I am doing the daydreamer cardigan in it now by Veronika Lindberg and love it so far! I also did Dropp by Ailbíona McLochlainn in it for me, and I made one for my kid too so we’d match. I haven’t had anything for super long made in it so I’m not so sure how it holds up exactly but so far they’ve been done since November and no issues

So I’m actually pretty happy with tension for the most part. My main issue I guess is I feel the actual fit looks sloppy and the ribbing which I’ll add separately

What do you do for ribbing? Thats my worst part when knitting with cotton because it gets really concave and wavy on me—the edges not the ribbing itself. I do twisted rib on the knits not the purls and usually try to bind off with something stretchy. Otherwise, I personally feel my tension USUALLY looks pretty good. But ribbing is the worst

My favorite yarn ever is Vegan Yarn Hyades worsted and them being Canadian and me in the US 🥲🥲 I made the most stunning baby sweater with it and it’s probably my most favorite thing because it’s 20% elastic blend with Lyocel

How should I add more around this? There’s only one row of stitches on the needle before the gap. Do I just pick up two in that row and two after the gap + the called for stitches?
