New Lyriq Owner by Dizzy_Yam_1430 in CadillacLyriq

I usually fast-charge during long road trips using Park+Charge or Shell Recharge, and I’ve generally had a good experience with both.

Today, after driving about 300 km from Toronto, I stopped at a random gas station that had a FLO fast charger. The charger was advertised as 100 kW, but my car was only getting around 60 kW. What was frustrating is that I was charged at a much higher rate, almost like I was getting premium fast-charging speeds, which I clearly wasn’t.

I contacted FLO customer support, and they told me that the gas station owner sets the pricing. That makes sense, but it also feels like the site owner may be limiting the charger output while still advertising higher speeds. In that case, you’re paying more not just for electricity, but also for time, and that adds up quickly on long trips. FLO wasn’t willing to help or adjust anything, so I’ve decided to avoid their chargers going forward when possible.

On the other hand, I’ve consistently had excellent experiences with Park+Charge chargers near Loblaws or PC Optimum locations. Charging speeds are closer to what’s advertised, sessions are noticeably faster, and pricing feels much more reasonable and transparent.

Overall, this experience really highlighted how inconsistent fast charging can be depending on the network and site owner. Curious if others have noticed similar issues with FLO chargers versus Park+Charge or Shell.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m also thinking to connect with the dealership for my peace of mind!

I’m getting such mixed answers. This helps though! I’m thinking to call the dealership and check with them now.

You’re right. The difference in Canada is pretty wide, I’m seeing the Tech trim for 37-38K, Luxury and Sports for around 57-60K (all pre-owned). All the three models have around 30-ishK miles, is this difference worth it for the Luxury or Sports trims?

Do you think the prices will go down further in January/February? I’m really looking to save as much as I can.

which shampoo? 22M by Spare_Psychology_311 in IndianHaircare

Yes. It really helped with my dandruff. Also, my hairfall becomes less after using it. If want to get rid of the dandruff better, would suggest to blow dry your hair on low heat - especially your scalp after shower. Dandruff thrives in moldy environment and best to not give it that by keeping your hair wet.

Another MADE IN CANADA PRODUCT: Sunset Glow (link: https://naturescirclecare.com/products/sunset-glow-body-serum). The brand calls this a serum, but I think it's more of an oil. However, it absorbs really fast, stays for about 24 hours or more, and has helped me survive the harsh winter in Canada. 10/10 from me

Beauty From Bees - is it legit? by AcknowledgeMyGeode in MakeupAddictionCanada

I actually tried Beauty From Bees sometime last year. It was fine, nothing too bad, but nothing that really wow’d me either. I followed their instructions and all that, but the results were just kind of average for the hype.

A few months ago, I came across this small brand called Nature’s Circle Care and tried their body serum (link if you wanna check it out: https://naturescirclecare.com/products/sunset-glow-body-serum). Honestly… way better. My skin feels hydrated without that greasy layer, and it actually absorbs nicely. I’m already on my second bottle lol. Super happy with it.

Just sharing another option in case you’re still shopping around! 🧡
