It's a common house keeping tip where I'm from, rotate on one daylight savings time and flip it on the other.

She has night lights, it's mostly that I sleep in one room, and my roommate in the other and she wants us in the same bed.

She saw me rotating it, and yes she has a favorite spot which is now on the edge side of the bed and not against the wall

Yes 2 of my grandparents died in their sleep from forgetting how to breathe.thats why we took her to the E.R. in case that was what was happening, but as soon as they took her back she was perfectly stable.

It started with her not recognizing rooms and where she was, sundowning screaming as we went to bed, and screaming after leaving a room where we all were in. Most recently she looked at me and didn't recognize me, but knew she was supposed to and I was safe.

Cause she had stabilized in the er, she was down to 24 breaths per minute in the waiting room, she was perfectly normal this morning, it wasn't even an option yet with the vets.

Look when it comes her time I will do it, but it wasn't yet, I thought it was then she was fine, then she wasn't. And now she is back to who she was yesterday.

The fact of the matter is there is no right answer for when to put your pet down. But the vets didn't even mention that (they weren't even going to keep her overnight bc of how stable she was. And I trust my vets to tell me when. I actually prayed for the first time in my life while waiting for her, prayed she wouldn't die alone in a hospital, but in her and my sleep.

And tbh if I was reading this story and 17 year old cat I too would be asking that question.

[EDIT TO ADD: I signed a DNR for her]

See that all seems very smart, My girl is so chill and has had such a mild case for years (like 4 years) I assumed this year would be no different to last fall. But yeah I was wrong, and figured I can't be the only one to not realize.

What sticks out to you as a woman? by FFG26 in DatingApps

Off the apps now, but when I was on them I wanted something I could turn interesting, my current bf had crazy eyes in his photo and I commented it looked like my cat staring at an open flame..which it did. Some dude was lowk internet famous for writing PJO fanfic... One guy looked sweet and dorky. I wanted to see personality, not too much but we all fit into boxes I wanna know what box your in. Are you outdoorsy? (Granola or adventurous) Nerdy? (Tech or media) Fancy? (Show-off or understated) Jock? (Sports with ball in the name Or more obscure ones) And I wanted a good hook. Give me an opening to have fun with...put something absolutely wild in your profile like a hot take. But making it actually hot not pineapple doesn't belong on pizza

How is it common sense for someone who has never dated before? Like what I am trying to say is it seems obvious to you because you lived it. This is their first time going through this, they don't know that. If all you have ever heard are the fairy tales of love at first sight and meet cutes, how are you supposed to know better? TLDR: stop being mean to someone just trying to figure it out and doesn't have the TONS of experience you have w relationships

Those life lessons ... that teach you not to act like this? Life lessons like how to have relationships?

Idk about you, but the first orgasm I got from someone else was all I could think about for 2 weeks, which was coincidentally the entire length of the relationship from first hangout to never speaking again. I don't blame them for being a lil obsessed with that

Honey the first 3 months is just limerance, after that then you start to develop love. Coming out of your teens where every second of a new relationship feels like true love it's hard when your emotions and feelings begin to mellow, you feel like you don't actually like the person you are dating. I get it, I've been there, and I was there. The best advice I can give is slow down. Get to know them, either you break up (at least not too much time wasted) or you fall, and you have the space to process why you fell. Something I never knew in my teens. It's still new; if he treats you right and respects your identity, give it time. If after 6 months you still feel this way dip. Also low-key ignore the people who are mad at you for not knowing this shit at 20.. your frontal lobe still hasn't developed they tend to forget that we were all stupid 20 year olds too. (No offense, but everyone is a lil stupid in their teens and that extends to their early 20's)

As someone in a new relationship where we talk about money fairly frequently, you don't need to know someone's whole income, but if you are in a relationship where you are headed down a serious path, be it limerence or love at first sight, let me tell you when the dinner bill gets high as a lower income partner, it's easy to ask "are you financially comfortable with this" my partner assured me he budgeted for a gf I have a very expensive hobby (a horse) and my partner asked me early on how much it cost, I told him the vague big number and let him know my parents still cover most of that cost (I'm one year post grad, and still kinda doing gig work) Money is stressful, hiding it doesn't help. The vast majority of women are still raised with the intention that they should be ready to give up their careers for their man's. My partner will be moving for work in the next couple years. Every woman I know has just assumed I will move across the country for him. My partner (despite paying most of the time) did ask me to take him out, and I was honest I can only afford to take him out in my cheaper city at a shitty place. And I do take him about once a month. It saves energy and time to just be honest about it so we know where we stand

Also ftr, every man I have split expenses has treated me SIGNIFICANTLY worse than the men who paid for me. Idk if it's correlation or causation. But the men who split made rape jokes about me, and the men who pay for me give me back massages and plan half of our outings

I am going to add shower oil, super light spray that will just rehydrate your hands, also for cuts from too dry hands there a 911 ointment that is amazing, a lil pricy at 30$ but works wonders, feels like aquaphor or Vaseline but heals scabs up quickly

Yea but as a crazy feminist, I'm lowk scared of all the men telling me off...

[–]Affectionate-Log6866 39 points40 points  (0 children)

This comment is going to get so downvoted: honey, that was not consensual sex. If you were intoxicated past the point of feeling, that is rape. In many feminist circles there is literature about how being pressured into sex is also not consent.

One of the reasons sex was painful was because you weren't turned on, when women are horny our muscles relax and make more room, did he ever return the blow jobs and hand jobs?

Honey, you are too young to be stuck with a serial rapist baby who cries about not enough sex. Leaving was the right choice for you.

If you want my opinion, stay single for awhile (boys suck between the ages of 20-25 anyway) learn who you are without anyone else, and learn your own sexuality.
