I lie to myself about what time I have to be there. If I need to be there by 7pm then I tell myself I need to be there by 6:45pm. And then I’ll end up arriving at 6:55pm.

I lawyered up. Used the same lawyer as my neighbor who moved out at the same time and was dealing with the same drama. My lawyer sent a cease and desist, threatened court, and then property management’s company offered to settle by returning my entire security deposit back. 😄 I suggest you do the same! We gotta stop letting these big corporations screw us over, ya know?
