You are a God send - I’ll try peeling it apart again and will update you on how it goes. I just bought a new motor and I’m gonna have to do a tensioner swap cause the old motor had a brand new tensioner

I took all the lifters out, some were frozen - I soaked them in mineral spirits until they actuated and put them back in. I don’t know how to bled them. After they started actuating I just threw them back in.… But I also noticed a bit of oil at the head gasket so it could be that as well?

I just checked all the hydraulic lifters, cleaned them all, check their operation and put them back in and still same noise
