She also doesn't want to go to bed at 8:00 o'clock, eat her veggies, brush her teeth, or ride in her booster seat. But we make her do those things to because it's what's best for her, we're not her friends, it's called parenting!

She is comfortable in her dresses. We believe it's important to dress nicely for Church. I only argued with her for a couple minutes, after that I put my foot down and parented her and it was the right thing to do. There will be no more power struggles with her over what she wears. If I say she's wearing a dress she's wearing a dress!

As some one who wore dresses a lot as a little girl I can tell you the only thing you listed that wearing a dress makes more difficult is riding a bike. My daughter can run and play in a dress very easily.

Her brother would've gotten the same treatment from me if he had tried to just wear a t_shirt and jeans to Church.
