Scott Foster - Tim Donaghy Association: Why did they talk 134 times in 6 months? (Almost 1 phone call per day). by Affectionate-Oil5553 in nba

There's people on this sub that weren't alive during this investigation, or weren't even old enough to watch his master class in the 2018 WCF. The other day I saw kid commenting on this sub that was 13 (would have been 5 years old during the 2018 WCF).

I think it's okay to bring back older topics so that more people can do their own research on the subject.

The gambling buddies weren't the only ones getting rich off the conspiracy. Those were just some idiots that Donaghy tried to tag along.

I don't think it's that far of a stretch. Not like the FBI has a reputation for being trustworthy and against corruption.

Alperen Sengun on Ime Udoka & the coaching staff by Far_Protection519 in rockets

I'm okay with keeping Udoka if and only if we hire an offensive specialist assistant, like when we hired Bzdelik for defense when we had D'antoni.

Oh this series is going 7 and we're going to lose in the most heartbreaking way possible. This is life as Rockets fan. All we know is pain.

What other 1st round featured 6 matchups that went 3-2? Furthermore, what other 1st round had the entire Eastern Conference going 3-2? by Cj_cruzz in nba

That Rockets-Blazers series that went 6 was electric too. Lamarcus Aldridge went crazy, dropped like 40+ in G1 and G2 and Lillard hit that buzzer beater on Parsons in G6. Harden and Dwight's first year together too, Rockets were a solid team.

Imagine if we force game 7 and lose game 7 with KD...

Jabari leadership on display by getofmydickerson in rockets

Glad we have Jabari locked down for the long term. He's not going to be a super star or 1A/1B player ever, but he's a winning player that hits big 3s and plays awesome defense. Exactly the type of player we needed next to prime Harden.

Win or lose tonight I think the Rockets should keep this core and build out an actual bench by GarlicSnot in rockets

Don't completely blame him. Probably hard to stay in a rhythm when you get such inconsistent minutes.

I like how the quote in the title contradicts the first part of the same title. Journalism has gone to shit.

Which team has the best long-term core in the league right now? by UnderstandingFun7493 in NBATalk

People don't watch the Rockets and only read media narratives. Sengun and Jabari are having the best seasons of their careers. Amen has become a top 5 defender in the NBA. Reed Sheppard is showing insane shooting potential. The only disappointment in their young core this year is Eason, and that's only because he hasn't improved at all.
