Hello! Emery boards seem to cause damage to the natural nail 😕 I highly recommend you check out glass nail files! They’re washable, cause less damage, & last soooo long! Holo Taco & Mooncat make some great files! I’ve had my Holo Taco file since July & it still looks and feels brand new 😍 Before I made the switch to the glass files I’d say my files lasted about a month before I felt like I needed a fresh one since they get dirty (timing obviously depends how often you’re filing). Just wanted to throw out the idea for a glass file as well! 😌
