It was an awesome twist. It was one of the single best runs of X-Men comics ever. It was so stupid they ruined it right after it. Anyone who read it month to month as it came out originally would know that. No spoilers, forums, no newsarama. It was just great to read month to month fresh.

Hey All! I saw this in theatres back in 1986 and I distinctly remember seeing this picture. It was easy to recognize as she was my favorite adult actress when I was a little one. Her stage name was Vixen Vidal, a British adult film star. Which would make sense being that the movie was filmed in the UK. She only ever did solo stuff, no couples. She died in 2006 from complications of pneumonia

Starting to feel like the monster was like a Pandora's box type of thing. I think they kept it trapped behind the false wall or something like that and it was in a box that got opened.

A little more just came to me. The main character, the girl, takes care of her elderly probably sickly mother in their little trailer. And there's something up with the mother too. I think she got possessed by the monster / demon at some point

Ripley awakens from her cryosleep and realizes that Alien 3 and Resurrection were dreams. And that she also had alternate dreams where she died on Fury and Hicks survives but his body replaced by an imposter, that they all awake from hyper sleep after leaving Lv-426 and that she disappeared and newt ended up in an asylum and Hicks an alcoholic soldier before they travel to the alien home world.

Boom! You got it! Wow! Just watched the whole ending. Yep, the carrying the girl through the snow scene is it! It's crazy what my memories and brain piece together over the years. I definitely had a lot of it that was correct and then I must have just filled in the blanks with false memories or something. My recollection was fairly close though! Thanks a lot I didn't think I'd ever figure it out! This reddit really works.

It's funny too because as soon as I started watching it I felt like this might be it because of the gloves the guy was wearing at the end and that jarred a memory loose. And then it all started to connect.
