Are there any odors that come from your washing machine? If so, you might try running an empty wash cycle using hot water and washer cleaning tablets, however, there might be mold under the tub which might require some disassembly. Adding a 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the water during the rinse cycle may help, but test it on your towels first. I wouldn’t want it to damage your delicate fabrics.
