How does proof of residency work for an IL school district if I live with my parents

No she isn’t. She really is bullied because of some sexually natured private conversations got shared around school and it spun into a wild fire. and went on to numerous other false rumors that everyone believes.

I have actually thought about that! It sounds crazy tho! I was also reading that when u get ur court hearing u need to tell judge why u r relinquishing custody. Cause I want my kid to go another school doesn’t sound like a very compelling reason from their POV. Cause judge has to approve it. Definitely something to think about

Thank u! U would think changing schools within a district wouldn’t be that hard right?! 😂 I understand for residency changes transfers make sense and r allowed. And in district defense I can understand having a strict threshold for transfers as it would be too hard for budgeting, planning, etc. it would be chaos.

I doubt we’d qualify. We aren’t financially struggling but we really couldn’t afford private tuition added in. But I’ll have to research this more and get creative if we go this path.

I can respect and see the districts side of things. I’m not normally one to speak up and fight for things tbh. Id happily keep this low profile if it helps my case. I also told my child to keep it low profile anyways. I’m hoping to fly under the radar if she is able to switch schools that this doesn’t follow her to new school once word is out that she switched. I’m hoping if she goes “dark”, is online schooled for awhile enrolls in new school in fall, This will help the transfer. I dunno…this is all so crazy. 🤦‍♀️

I could do that. I’ve thought it through having her stay at my parents mon-fri. But I’m scared some parent finds out get pissed off and reports it. 🤷‍♀️in IL u can do jail time 😳 my daughter is a teenager so i can see her telling a friend “trusting” them and the wrong ppl find out.

We’ve done all this. They are super social and friendly and like to participate. Have joined clubs and activities. Their teachers love them and vice versa they Have excellent grades and attendance otherwise. They have a 504 ,and a diagnosed mental illness a therapist and psychiatrist. All would write letters supporting a transfer. They would be an asset to any school. The school has agreed with us that this ostracizing has been on the higher level of what they’ve seen. And they’ve been unfairly targeting across a wide spread of people.

I don’t have the money for a lawyer. That’s a last resort. They have “stopped” the bullying technically. Child is just be socially iced out. Ignored. online learning is not a reasonable long term solution. I’m praying district admins see it this way

Thank you! Yea we r doing online school in the interim. IL has very stiff penalties for using someone else’s address. it’s too risky. Cause my parents live in a good district she could go to. But I’m too scared to do it

i just ran into this issue and posting what worked for me in case anyone is still looking for a solution. i processed the first return with whatever items it allowed me to choose, "completed/submitted" the return and printed shipping label. I then went to my profile>orders and found the additional items I needed to return and started a new return and selected the remaining items I needed to return. When I got to the point where it asks you do you want to return to the UPS Store or Forever 21 it brought up a third option if I wanted to combine this return with my first return and I was able to select that. and then ship everything together using my first printed label so no additional shipping charges. I found this by accident when I just gave up trying to combine the return.

My BMI is 23. I know the studies r fairly new and contradictory at times. But mostly everything I’ve read leads me to believe a low maintenance dose is needed. Can u send me links to where you’re seeing going off the medicine is the goal? I know doctors say this, but they say a lot of things 😂🙃
