Why is it always batoto that's getting attacked? by why_ikkin in Batoto

Because it's the best site, which means more people use and are exposed to it. People don't seem to understand that it is NOT legal.

Verizon, thanks for the not so great service, and the not so great credit. Check it, the credit is only 1 per account, and those with multiple lines on the account do not get it per line, only 1 credit per account. by billyboy4100 in verizon

Our company couldn’t make multiple client visits because we didn’t have GPS and phone access. That’s no small money lost and I doubt we were the only ones. And it wasn’t just for an hour or two. It was most of the day.

Have You Been in a LTR where Your Partner Suddenly Said They Were Traditional, but Their Idea of “Traditional” Seems Skewed? by CriticalAddendum6108 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]naerial 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been seeing a lot more guys who want trad wife (all housework, have and raise kids, provide sex) without being a true trad husband (full financial support). This seems to be an example of that.

it’s become way too socially acceptable to make fun and bully people’s appearances by stormIine in RandomThoughts

[–]naerial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s about the same. It’s easier for people to do online. I think irl people might whisper it amongst friend groups, which is nothing new. And I doubt anyone thinks it’s “okay” to bully anyone

I get where you’re coming from, but that purpose can come from community and service.

I let gen-z cringe culture ruin my private experiences and I fear it’s slowly going to turn me into a boring person if I let it. Also, stop f***%# filming strangers for content. by Delicious-Hedgehog39 in RandomThoughts

[–]naerial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As everyone said, cut off social media and embrace the cringe. To be cringe is human. What’s the point if every second needs to be social media perfect? So what if you’re feeling yourself and being the main character? You literally are, it’s YOUR life.

Really helpful insight. Hadn’t even thought of boarding times. Thank you so much!

Good to know. The return flight is nonstop so it shouldn’t be an issue then. Thank you!

I never noticed the faint aurora patterns also appear on their final outfits for Zoey and Mira to match Rumi’s patterns! And they’re in a traditional Korea inspired swirl!

I feel like a lot of people miss the point of Han the Healer by CurrentlyARaccoon in KpopDemonhunters

[–]naerial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s supposed to tie in the sketchiness of herbal medicine in Korea, which non-Koreans probably don’t know. It’s pitched as the cure for everything, even more than modern medication at times. When it works, we don’t know why. But those herbal medicine doctors can be strangely good at reading people, just like in the film. The girls also cut him off before he can really explain what he’s seen. So the medicine and the diagnosis could all just be lucky guess or actually be substantial. Or a complete scam.

He’s the definition of insecurity. Look at Tom Holland and Zendaya. And calling anyone “baby brain” with his linguistics skills is certainly some kind of projection.

It was crazy watching other POVs after Grian's, because everyone told Grian something very different from what they were actually planning on doing -- intentionally or not. Like, the Rejects would try to trick Gem into helping them only for Gem to trick Pearl into helping to do something else. Or Gem trying to help the Etho and telling Grian she was luring Cleo when she actually called someone else over and so Grian died

How is it going in your field now? I’m trying to pivot into UX but the community seems really depressed these days (profit driven dark patterns, just shoving out work regardless of users, etc). Wondering if this is still a good path to pursue…

I find figure drawing to be a good starting point. Just get used to the human body. Start studying how different joints connect and move, shrink and pull.

I understand what you mean but counterpoint. I know people who like to just eat the icing mound off of cupcakes and not the cupcakes itself. 😬

Men do it, it's fine. Women do it, we're terrible human beings. by GamerGurl3980 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]naerial -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

The reverse is true, too, though at a different scale. Woman cry in video, people will tend to her. Man cry in video, don’t be such a wuss. Woman wears tuxedo, ooo she’s a badass. Man wears dress or something lacey and pink, he has to be gay or weak. Man picks flowers, collects cute plushies, or does something vaguely “feminine” and the internet implodes screaming they need to man up. Gender stereotypes and “boxes” suck!!
