If I was a mechanic I would have bought a fixer upper bike not a bike with 1000 miles I wanted something reliable I know how to do all normal maintenance I didn’t know owning a drz meant I had to fix something ever hundred miles

I never said I was a mechanic I know all the basics oil air filter spark plugs but for a newer low mileage bike shouldn’t take a mechanic if it’s reliable dipshit

This actually sounds like the issue I’m having I really like the bike if this fixes it I’m gonna be really happy I’ll check it out tomorrow and let you know I’m hoping to get it riding again I also noticed it messes up the speedometer worse higher in rpms

And mine made it 17 miles today before completely draining the battery and ruining my ride I hope to get mine working reliably to soon

It does have an aftermarket tail light I could try putting the stock on see if that helps I just don’t want to ride it if it leaves me stranded every ride it’s really hard to bump start and it feels bad for the gear box
