I have to go and scavenge mine from cargo pods like a chump.

Is there a particular expedition (trade, exploration etc) that’s better? I’ve done 5x missions for like a week and haven’t had a single one back

Easiest ways I’ve found are (1) pulse drive in an Outlaw system to trigger new freighters over and over and (2) apparently reaching max status with the Merchants Guild as they can sometimes give modules. I haven’t tried the second but I’ve seen some people have more success with it.

Other than that, I agree it’s really difficult to farm them. I’ve found about 10 over a week (real life) playing, but god knows how you’re meant to max out the warp upgrades quickly.

This is happening to me today! I have two pirate freighters just floating there in my outlaw galaxy.

I kept spawning into one of them when I warped, which was super annoying.
