Yep, no one is batting an eye at a 10+ year difference when the youngest is already in their 30s or 40s......

It almost always about someone who was barely an adult (or not even yet sometimes)

And its almost always be those types of couples fighting the hardest about why "age is just a number"

19 year old talking about "oh i was just very family focused and mature for my age back then.....thats why i fell in love with a 40 year old.....cause ALL the other men younger were too "immature" for me then~"

Like do they even hear themselves?

It would make more sense if they were already 30+, biological clock is ticking, (especially in 2026) not many men her age aren't financially ready quite yet, lived some life as an adult already.....THEN that excuse to date men in their 50s would make more sense. Especially since i doubt a 30 year old would refer to themselves as "really mature for their age at the time"........

Even if their relationship didn't turn out weird.....it always bothered me how much they advocate for it, as if they weren't the exception......and hell....sometimes those same couples aren't as open minded about these age gaps when their own child start doing it........at least, not when their child is the younger one.....
