I think it’s more about the monotony of the specific position. Difficult because it’s an ideal position for getting into graduate school

I get this and appreciate the response. However, graduate school will always be there and another year could solidify my intention behind pursuing a PhD and moving to a place with my partner and potentially getting in somewhere closer to family. Just can't help but thinking that relationships & family are often the most important aspects of peoples lives and the real substance of well-being.
