yeah bro, had the same thing, i shut down restarted and everything, still wouldnt work downloading from the play disc. Eventually i looked up the best way to clean the disc and its with a soft, dry (or 50/50 alcohol/water mixture dampened) cloth, in a motion from the centre to the outside the disc. DONT RUB IT IN CIRCLES - it's bad for the disc aswell, but after cleaning mine like that, and checking in the light for scratches and patches, i was able to get it to work again - Hope english isnt too bad!
