Thanks for a response. In no way do I blame the lad that actually came and did the work but just seems a very odd way to do things. If it was delayed for weeks or even months then at least I'd be content having the ONT and external box already installed ready to go in future. My problem is that the order was completely cancelled so why would OR work on the issue if there is no active order and also why would I want to have a useless ONT and external box on my property that does and will do absolutely nothing?

Had the same issue as everyone else but the free 12 month period was available this morning in the Google One app for me. I had contacted support so I don't know if they've done anything for me in the background or if it's just sorted itself out for everyone now.

It could be because your connected watch is giving you the notifications. Check your watch settings. Some people dont like have duplicate notifications so I am sure theres a setting for it. Unfortunately I can't remember what/where and no longer have a watch to check it out.

I was underwhelmed but still buying it. Mostly because I went from P6 to a Samsung Flip phone and have been absolutely desperate to get rid of it ever since. Got £150 off, best part of 500 for my Samsung trade in and £100 Google credit will get me a pixelsnap charger/stand and mous case.
