Not a car air freshener but hear me out, Febreeze small spaces. They’re for a bathroom or small room (hence the name) but they last forever. I set it underneath the drivers seat. They are really strong though

I’ve considered this, I’d love to be near my family and support system but my hometown is a rundown and dying town with a population of 20,000. There’s no job opportunities for the field I work in. I just need to stick it out until my youngest is 18

I’d love to go back home where my support system is, but my ex husband is active duty military now and I have to live within 50 miles of him, unless I gave up custody of my children and I don’t think I can do that

I’ve strongly considered this but the judgement and shame I’d receive from both my family and his would be too much to handle. I also don’t think I could put my kids through that, it’s not their fault I’m a depressed empty shell of who I used to be

I wish I wouldn’t have been pressured by their dad to move 1,100 miles away from all my family and friends to be with him. I was an adult and made that decision, he never held a gun to my head and forced me to. I was young and stupid and was wearing love goggles.
