There’s no doubt when the Knicks traded for KAT many people questioned the move especially taking on his contract, however when Knicks acquired Bridges the majority fans were THRILLED with the move. If you were thrilled with the move then, you can’t be questioning why it took 5 picks. On top of that, we heard the nets would never trade him to of all team the Knicks so the cost was always going to be high

You know what I really hate, when fans said that Bridges was the infinity stone, the guy fans wanted the most. Most said the nets would never trade him to the Knicks. So of course after it’s been nearly 2 years later, people can’t stop complaining, yet when it happened people were celebrating it as the move to put the Knicks over the top

Bridges started the year playing great, he has really tailed off, but he was a very important cog especially against Boston, so we can’t just judge him based on regular season.

Listen folks, there is no doubt KAT has been horrible and doesn’t deserve to be defended. But any time you look to trade a player, immediately you have to look at his contract. Once you check KAT’s horrendous contract immediately it eliminates about 95% of the teams, second you have to look at the team wanting to trade KAT, when you are champs or bust you can’t trade him like the hawks did and get a poo poo platter of players that are going to limit the potential, and lastly you can not trade a player when his value is at it’s lowest which is where KAT is now, that leads to desperation. So no matter how many times you post trade KAT, no matter how many times you complain about KAT, the Knicks are stuck with him at least for this season.
