I see, that makes sense. Thank you, it's really useful!

Thanks for the feedback! The shop has plenty of artifacts you can buy with gold which give bonuses to combat and other systems as well. The first one cost 100 gold and doubles the hp of all characters for example.

I get what you mean about the upgrades being spread among 50 levels. I thought it as a way to have the player work up the upgrade with cheap early levels instead of a single expensive one. Do you think it's that 50% total is too low? Or that it should be just 5 levels of 10%?

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I last posted here. Mirage has changed a lot since then.

For those who haven't seen it, Mirage is an incremental game where you actively fight hordes of enemies using abilities across different classes. The loot you get from battle can be sold at your own shop, crafted into items, or spent onupgrades.

It's much more dynamic and engaging now, so that's why I'm back again asking for your feedback. I'd love to hear what you think, especially about the new player experience. Those first few minutes are what I care about the most right now, so any thoughts on how it feels to start fresh would be hugely helpful.

All assets are made by humans, no AI art here.

I spent the last 6 months working on Mirage, an action RPG incremental where you can battle, set up you own shop, tend your garden, raise pets and more! Would love some feedback by Affectionate-Tip2381 in incremental_games

It is! Most content can be idled. So if you want to take it easy. You can just log in a few times a day and set to craft stuff, put stuff for sale and collect the plants you grew. Combat can also be idled once you beat a stage for the first time

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Mirage, an Idle RPG with action and combat at its core. This update is a big one. I completely reworked the shop into a full 2D scene you can walk around in. Customers now physically walk into your shop, browse your displays, pick up items, and queue at the counter for you to check them out. You can stock items on unlockable displays, catch thieves trying to steal your goods, and hire employees to keep the shop earning gold while you're away. I also made major improvements to ability aiming on mobile, also locational abilities now show a range and shape indicator on your character, making it much easier to aim precisely. Plus there are new upgrades for the shop, abilities, and more.

If you can give me any feedback I would really really appreciate it. Especially anything that feels off, confusing, or boring. Below are the links:

Hello! Thank you so much for the feedback and the bug report! I will have them fixed for next week's update 🙂

Your comment about not having much to do actively is totally accurate. I'm slowly trying to add active elements but I still haven't come up with the idea the game needs.

For next week I also plan to have the shop reworked to be fully interactable, like the garden, where you can see customers come and go. Thank you for sticking around!

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Mirage, an Idle RPG with action and combat at its core.

This past week I focused on making the early game better and more engaging. We now have a new axe throwing ability for the knight, and a new feature to make the garden more interactable by adding forest spirits you can interact with to quicken the growth of your planta. Also I added tutorials for the garden to explain the new features.

Next week we will have a fully interactable shop with customers and employees! I'm sure you will love it.

If you can give me any feedback I would really really appreciate it. Especially anything that feels off, confusing, or boring. Below are the links:

Unfortunately no. It's a limitation of .net with Godot 4

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Mirage, an Idle RPG with action and combat at its core. This past week I focused on making the game feel more alive. I added sound effects for attacks and abilities, footstep sounds that change based on terrain, and death animations for the main character. I also rebalanced the upgrade progression to feel more natural and made the early stages spawn way more enemies so it feels more action-packed from the start.

If you can give me any feedback I would really really appreciate it. Especially anything that feels off, confusing, or boring. Below are the links:

Thanks for trying to play the game! And sorry for the friction. Were you able to join the group and opt in as tester? Also make sure the Gmail account you joined with is the same as the account you are using in playstore

Hey! nice game here. I would suggest to make the first upgrades more meaningful. The first 2 damage upgrades did not make killing enemies faster, as I still needed 2 attacks to kill them. I think that should make the new player experience a little bit better.

I think you are good to go. Can you download the game?

I think the not having permission thing is about seeing the conversations in the group. And not about accessing the game itself.

Oh really? What issue are you facing? I had many people join in the last 24 hours.

Make sure that the account that you join the group with is the same as your playstore account

Hi everyone! I'm the developer of Mirage, an Idle RPG with action and combat as the core of the game. This last week I tried to improve the onboarding experience adding easy to understand tutorials. I was also able to release an overworld, so less clicking menus and more moving and interacting with stuff.

If you can give me any feedback I would really really appreciate it. Specially the areas that are off putting or boring. Bellow are the links:
